ABOUT LOVE YOUR HEART:
Join us for a heart-centered yoga and sound healing workshop designed to nurture both your physical and emotional heart. This class weaves together yoga postures, breath work, sound healing and mindfulness practices to promote cardiovascular health.

Research has shown that a regular yoga practice and sound healing can promote heart health by lowering blood pressure, reducing stress, lowering cholesterol, reducing anxiety, improving sleep and enhancing circulation.

During this yoga and sound healing workshop, we will focus on heart-opening postures to increase circulation. Grounding postures, sound instruments and supported inversions will be included to lower heart rate and reduce stress. You will also be guided through breathing practices which have been shown to support relaxation and regulate the cardiovascular system.

Whether you’re seeking to support your heart health, manage stress, or simply connect with yourself more deeply, this class is a holistic approach to promote your wellness. February is heart month- let’s move, breathe, and honor the incredible work your heart does for you every day.

About the Teacher:

Deb Fraine

Deb has been practicing yoga for 20 years and is a registered member of Yoga Alliance having completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Donna Pagliarani at the Dharma Connection in Sandwich, MA. “As a yoga instructor my goal is to integrate my knowledge as an outpatient orthopedic occupational therapist into my yoga classes by helping to prevent injury with sequences that stretch and strengthen the core, neck, back, shoulders, quadriceps, hamstrings, hips, shoulders, wrists and hands.”
