As we move into the warm months to continue your self -care! Summer is a wonderful and care free time of year. We live in a beautiful area to enjoy everything the summer months have to offer.
We are outside, moving our bodies and getting our vitamin D. We feel better, play more and often have a different routine and schedule.
So how do we maintain HAPPY FEET ALL SUMMER; (some common sense tips)
• Apply sunscreen all over your feet – top and bottom and all over the toes – believe me when I tell you, you don’t want sunburn on your feet.
• We love flip flops and bare feet in the summer so Be mindful of the ground in front of you – from seashells to broken glass, stepping on the wrong thing could ruin your day or even your week.
• Wearing shoes will protect feet from hot surfaces like beach sand, parking lot pavement, and sidewalk cement, always wearing footwear, like water shoes or sturdy sandals, can save them from not only burns, but also cuts and scrapes
• As care free as summer can feel, having less structure or even going to more parties can keep you distracted and away from your body’s need for balance and Reflexology sessions are just one more way to keep your feet (body and mind) happy all summer long.
