Policies and Practices –  The STUDIO

YOGA REGISTRATION POLICY

  • Please be mindful that some classes fill up quickly, and if you are unable to attend, cancel your registration as soon as possible to offer a spot to another student.
  • All students are strongly encouraged to pre-register for class online through The Studio TULA Online registration.
  • If you have not checked in within 5 minutes of the class start time, your space may be released to another student.
  • If you are trying to register another student or guest or having issues registering yourself, don’t hesitate to get in touch with thestudiomattapoisett@gmail.com or call (774) 320-1222 for assistance.
  • If another student cancels their registration, enabling you to move from a waitlist to the class roster, you will be immediately notified via email. Please make sure you are opted in to receive email notifications! Timing depends upon cancellations and can happen up to 30 minutes before class start time.
  • If you are notified that you have gained a spot in class; but can no longer attend, please cancel your registration ASAP (see below).

WAISTLIST FAQ

How do I know I am on the Waitlist?
When you go to register for a class and “in-person” is a full house, you will be asked if you’d like to join the waitlist.
You will be placed on a waitlist for that class by clicking YES.
When a space becomes available for the class, an email will be sent out to all waitlisted parties. (Be sure you opted in to receive email notifications)
If you can no longer attend, PLEASE deregister ASAP, making room for another waitlisted student.
If you are on the waitlist and know beforehand you have made other plans and will not attend the class, please do not wait for an email.

Please go to your “My Account” page and de-register. This will open a space for another student to attend. Please be mindful that Class sizes are limited and can fill up quickly. (See below for How to cancel)

**You can view classes you are currently waitlisted for by going to “My Account” found on the website: Mattapoisettwellness.com under The Studio tabs; or logging into your TULA account directly.

YOGA CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Registration for in-person classes is limited and may fill up quickly. If you can no longer attend a class you have registered for, please cancel your registration (online via TULA) ASAP so a spot can be made available to another student. Go to “my Account” under the “The Studio “tab found on the website: mattapoisettwellness.com
  • Please be aware that students who repeatedly miss class or cancel with less than 30 minutes’ notice may not be eligible for a class pass or drop-in payment refunds. Members may be charged $10 per missed class if repeatedly absent with little or no notice.
  • Please note our class sizes are limited, and some have active waiting lists. In the future, if you can no longer attend a class you have registered for, we kindly ask that you cancel your registration ASAP (online, via TULA, or by call or email ) so we can offer the spot to another student.

HOW TO DE-REGISTER FOR A CLASS

Life happens. We get it. You can de-register for a class in a few ways. We appreciate it greatly.
Online: Log in to your account by clicking “My Account” at the bottom, and it will direct you to your account page. Here you can view upcoming registrations, past attendances and purchases, and waitlist information. Registrations you have will be displayed on the right-hand side of the screen. Click “de-register.”
Online: Go to the Schedule calendar page. Find the class. Click on “De-register.” (You must be logged in to see the “De-register” button.)
Email: Jenn Risio at thestudioMattapoisett@gmail.com and let us know in advance. Please give us your full name and the class day and time so we can de-register you.

PROGRAM CANCELLATION POLICY

The Studio and The Mattapoisett Wellness Center reserve the right to cancel a program (workshop or training) at any time. If The Studio. Cancels a program, and you will receive a full refund. No refunds or credit are issued for classes postponed due to weather—every effort is made to reschedule such classes.
Some programs may have particular cancellation policies; see individual workshop and training descriptions. 
The studio’s in-person training is highly experiential and requires group participation to succeed. In order to ensure our high standards of excellence are met, training dates may be postponed allowing additional time for more enrollment. Programs that are rescheduled will do so with at least one week’s notice to participants to minimize the impact of those changes
If a student cancels:
  • Full Refund / 100% Registration Fee: Up to 14 days prior to the program
  • Credit Only* / 100% Registration Fee: From 14 days up to 3 days prior to the program
  • Credit Only* / 50% Registration Fee: From 3 days up to 24 hours prior to the program
  • No Credit / Refund: Within 24 Hours
  • We ask all students to monitor their own health and be mindful of our community. If you are experiencing a fever, cough, sore throat, or if you wake up with cold or flu symptoms, please get in touch with us via email or call (774) 320-1222 as soon as possible to cancel your attendance in the program with no penalty, even on the day of the program. If we do not hear from you; and do not show up for your program, you will not be refunded.

EXPLORER PASS FAQS

Signing up for an EXPLORER PASS allows you 14 days of unlimited yoga/fitness classes available both in-person and virtual live stream for only $49.This pass is for the student curious about The Studio and gives you free rein to explore the teachers, class types, and times that fit your schedule! We encourage you to come as you are and find your BLISS!
The Studio offers more than just yoga! We offer Barre, Pilates, And various types of fitness classes too!
Take as many classes as you’d like and enjoy over a DOZEN teacher’s AMD 30+ classes a week! We are confident there is something for everyBODY!
WHEN DOES YOUR EXPLORER PASS BEGIN?

On the date of purchase! You can purchase the Explorer Pass online through our TULA scheduling app found on   Mattapoisettwellness.com under the “THE STUDIO” tab and then click schedule a class.

MEMBERSHIP TERMS + CONDITIONS

Signing up for a Membership means you agree to pay the membership rate for at least three months via automatic payment on a credit or debit card. After the initial three months, your automated payments will continue on a monthly basis.
*Your monthly payment runs on the same day of the month each month as your purchase date.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS AND TERMS

  • Unlimited in-studio and live-stream yoga, applicable to yoga/ fitness classes on the weekly schedule 
  • 15% Off bodywork treatments. Includes massage; and Reiki, not applicable to Acupuncture.
  • 10% off at Isabelle’s; and Blossoms Flowers
  • Discounts on most workshops/events (*some exceptions apply)
  • One complimentary Guest pass per month (Member must accompany guest), *passes do not accrue.
Memberships can be canceled at any time after the initial commitment of 3 months is reached. Cancellation must be received in writing by submitting the Membership Cancellation Form. We require 14 days’ notice, or your cancellation may not take effect until after your next billing cycle.
No sharing, exchanging, or refunds of memberships.
Memberships can be frozen once per year, after an initial three-month commitment, to allow for travel, illness, etc., for a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 3 months (or up to 6 months for seasonal travel.) Your payment and expiration dates will shift by the number of days you freeze. Please let us know in writing within at least 14 day’s notice via email: thestudiomattapoisett@gmail.com

WHY WOULD I BUY A MEMBERSHIP? HOW WILL IT BENEFIT ME?

Our Membership is the most popular and cost-effective option for the student who practices yoga regularly (2x week) and wants to receive all the other perks and discounts. A regular yoga practice/ fitness regime improves overall health, reduces the physical effects of stress on the body, and creates increased flexibility, mobility, balance, strength, and inner peace. The benefits are too numerous to mention!

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

To join in person, stop by the studio, call us at 774-320-1222 or email us at thestudiomattapoisett@gmail.com or talk to a teacher. You can quickly sign up online as well!   You can purchase a membership on our website too!

HOW DO I PAY FOR THE MEMBERSHIP?

Each monthly payment is processed automatically with the credit card stored in your profile. You can, of course, pay for the initial 3-month commitment upfront with cash or check, but we do ask for a credit card to be held on file for future payments.

I ALREADY HAVE A CLASS PASS:  CAN I CONVERT IT TO A MEMBERSHIP?

Yes! We can refund the unused portion of your class pass and use that credit toward your first month of membership.

IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR Students/Seniors/Veterans /or Military?

Yes! Membership is available for the special price of $105 per month.

CAN I PURCHASE A MEMBERSHIP FOR SOMEONE ELSE?

Yes! You can purchase the Membership for a minimum of 3 months. You can either pay for the first three months at the time of purchase, or you can pay for the first month at the time of sale and put a credit/debit card on file, and you will be charged automatically for each subsequent month. You can gift a Membership for as many months as you’d like beyond that 3-month initial commitment.

DO I HAVE TO START ON THE 1ST OF THE MONTH?

No, you can start at any time during the month.

WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP? HOW LONG IS THE COMMITMENT?

The initial commitment is three months. After that, the contract will auto-renew monthly, and you can cancel any time with 14 days’ notice by completing the Membership Cancellation Form at the Check-in desk or emailing Jenn Risio: thestudiomattapoisett@gmail.com

CAN I FREEZE MY CONTRACT FOR VACATION, ILLNESS, ETC.?

Yes, after your initial 3-month commitment, you can freeze your Membership for a period of 1-3 months (or up to 6 months for seasonal travel). To request a freeze, please submit in writing via email to Jenn Risio: thestudiomattapoisett@gmail.com

HOW DOES THE GUEST PASS WORK?

Members may bring guests to the class using their complimentary Monthly Guest Pass (suitable for 30 Days, passes do not accrue). Please introduce your guest when checking in to class. If they have not been to The Studio before, your guest will be asked for contact information; and to sign a Liability Waiver. To pre-register your guest for class, contact us via email: thestudiomattapoisett@gmail.com or by phone: at 774-320-1222 with their name and which class you both would like to attend. Members must accompany their guests.

IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF CLASSES I CAN TAKE PER DAY?

NO! We encourage you to practice as often as you like… Your membership gives you access to unlimited in-studio and live-stream yoga!
