Deb Fraine

Deb Fraine has been practicing yoga for 20 years and is a registered member of Yoga Alliance having completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Donna Pagliarani at the Dharma Connection in Sandwich, MA. “As a yoga instructor my goal is to integrate my knowledge as an outpatient orthopedic occupational therapist into my yoga classes by helping to prevent injury with sequences that stretch and strengthen the core, neck, back, shoulders, quadriceps, hamstrings, hips, shoulders, wrists and hands.”

Joey Machado

Joey received his 200-hour training certification from Kripalu four years ago where he studied with Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman, and Shiva Rea. Joey’s passion is allowing yoga to be accessible no matter the circumstance. He teaches Kripalu yoga, gentle, moderate, power and chair yoga. He is also certified as a personal trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine.  He has been successfully training people for more than 11 years.

Joelene Marinone

Joelene has been practicing yoga for 27 years and teaching yoga for 20 years. She has trained in Reiki ll, energy medicine traditions, and many different types of yoga such as Kundalini, Iyengar, Anusara, Restorative, and Yin, all of which add to her teaching and understanding of embodiment. Joelene believes that yoga truly is a healing practice of mind/body and a wonderful way to spend time with yourself.

Jennifer Risio

Jennifer has a developing yoga practice of 23 years now, and was captivated by the deep personal transformation when she first stepped on to the mat in 1997. She is a certified RYT with Yoga Alliance, and has been teaching for over a decade… 12 years! She began her teaching journey while living in Newport, RI and now resides in Mattapoisett, MA with her family, teaching throughout the Southcoast and Tri-town area. Her classes are creative and fun! Each sequence designed to help the student find grace and stillness, strength and agility, while igniting breath and movement as one! Yoga with a flow! To help ride the ebbs and flow of life’s challenges. Jennifer found passion for this practice early on is grateful and honored to share this passion with her students! She believes yoga and LIFE should be filled with freedom, grace, compassion , and lots of laughter, on and off the mat. Jennifer teaches a powerful flow emphasizing strength and lightness, allowing the mind to relax and the heart to shine! Jennifer is also a Reiki Master Teacher, Pilates Certified Instructor, beach comber, sea glass collector, avid bird watcher, oily enthusiasts, and a mother of 3! She loves to share with all the true power of energy healing🙏

Shawn Sweet

Shawn is Barre Fitness certified through the internationally accredited American Barre Technique program. Having spent 16 years in dance training, Barre has allowed her to stay connected to her dance background while inspiring others to find a love for health and fitness. Barre offers a great muscle burn with low impact exercises; it builds long lean muscles, strengthens and tones while improving posture and flexibility. Shawn enjoys watching her students gain endurance as they continue their Barre journey.

Prior to joining the MWC team, Shawn has taught at the local Council on Agings, as well as local Autism programs, as her initial focus was on groups with less access.

Shawn has also obtained certifications in Life Coaching, Health and Nutrition, Aromatherapy, Herbal Medicin, and Reiki, as well as completed courses in Mentoring and Mindfulness. The certifications were initially to broaden her knowledge to better herself, but the information has allowed for a more developed base to work in the field of wellness.

Shawn’s goal is to connect, inspire and motivate her students to find their best selves, as she believes health is wealth.

Emily Bourgeois

Emily’s desire to understand yoga more deeply led to her becoming a yoga teacher in 2019. She received her 200 Hour Anusara RYT at All That Matters Yoga Studio in Providence, RI with Sara Davidson Flanders. Emily endeavors to integrate skillful alignment and heart centered philosophy, which invites students to explore how the physical practice of yoga offers a deeper connection to their mind, body and heart.

Cindi Assad

Cindi is a longtime yoga teacher and Pilates instructor with over 25 years of experience in fitness. Her formal training includes tutelage under Cyndi Lee, Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, Jonathan Urla, and Jennifer Kries, as well as being a certified Functional Movement Coach and Personal Trainer. She is 200+hours certified with the Yoga Alliance via Maha Yoga Center in Bridgewater and as well as working with Beth Shaw’s program, YogaFit. Based on her love of all things fitness, yoga, and Pilates.
