In this 2 hour workshop, you will better understand your hips, the physical role they play within your body, and the emotional weight hips carry throughout your life.

As guru T.K.V. Desikachar states, “The quality of our breath expresses our inner feelings.”
The hips play a vital role physically in the quality of the breath. We will discuss the anatomy of the hips and better understand how to regulate homeostasis through breath and movement.

Symbolically hips have been said to hold all of our emotions/ experiences from the time we entered this world; took our very 1st first breath.

We will dive into the density of our hips and look to breathe and move to create spaces openly; and with lightness. Our hips can offer insight into the state of our emotional well-being.
