Mom’s Only Movement and Meditation

We all know how much work parents and caregivers put into our families. As a mother, I can attest to putting myself last on all too many occasions. This is something that needs to shift. We need to make the time to dedicate to ourselves.
 
This yoga series is dedicated to mothers, grandmothers, aunts, caregivers, and mother figures who really deserve to put themselves back on the board.
You are worthy, you are deserving. Let’s come together in a safe and tranquil environment where we can support and uplift each other.
This will be an All-Levels yoga series with meditation, sound, and time for reflection through journaling.
 
WHAT YOU NEED:
Please bring your mat if you have one, a journal, and a pen/pencil.
Feel free to attend 1 or all in this 6-week series. Each session will have a specific theme. Let’s start with self-love!!

 

About the Teacher:

Sara DaCosta

Sara has been an educator in some capacity throughout her life. Initially, she began her professional career as an educator and administrator in residential and public schools. Eventually, her path shifted and she became certified in Pretzel Kids Yoga in 2018. The following year she began her 200 hour level training through Yoga Alliance International completing her certification in 2020. Since then she has taught yoga in a variety of settings and studios. Sara holds a certification in both Reiki I and Reiki II infused with Bio Scalar Energy and is actively taking continual energy courses. In 2021 she received her certificate of Trauma – Sensitive Mindfulness with David Treleaven. She is also trained in sound healing and has a great appreciation of vibration and frequency. Sara brings awareness to the mind, body and spirit throughout her practice and continues to learn and grow each time she is on the mat.
