Menopause Yoga Workshop #1 – Hot Flashes & Night Sweats  Menopause is something that all women go through, but no one talks about. In a Menopause Yoga workshop, we change that! The goal of a Menopause Yoga Workshop is to Educate, Embrace and Empower.

We begin with an honest and open discussion about Menopause and each woman is encouraged to share her unique experience. What is Menopause? What are the symptoms? What causes my symptoms? What are my options?
Drawing from modern Western Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurveda, along with diet and lifestyle choices, we give women the tools to make an informed decision and seek out the best option for their personal Menopause journey.

It’s time to flip the script!
This first workshop is focused on Hot Flashes. We practice breathwork and poses that are physically cooling and mentally calming to help reduce stress and heat. With a mix of Hatha, Yin, and Restorative movement, our menopause yoga practice is achievable for ALL women. We complete our practice with a meditation designed to help us release what no longer serves
us and to gain strength from who we are becoming, which is an incredible opportunity for self-growth.

Menopause yoga offers women the resources to once again take charge of their lives. They find their voice. And most importantly they become part of a community. You are strong. You are beautiful. You are not alone.

About the teacher: 

Wendy is a yoga teacher based out of Chattanooga, TN.  She has been teaching yoga for 5 years and just recently became certified in Menopause Yoga.  Wendy began her own menopause journey with very little information or resources.  In a search for how to navigate this new phase of her life, she found Menopause Yoga and it changed her world.  Now she offers Workshops and classes to help other women find rediscover their joy and thrive through their own menopause journey.
